Urban Pictures is an American entertainment services company which specializes in the creation, production, distribution, and licensing of film, motion pictures, television programs, documentary films, and multimedia entertainment content.

Our goal is to produce and distribute quality media content targeted toward people of color. Our mission is to focus on the delivery of quality content for people of color, created by people of color.

Urban was founded in New York City in 2019 by aspiring screen / script writer and producer Lou Reid who currently serves as the company’s President / Chief Executive Officer.
